Brooklyn Women’s Services is proud to announce some recent changes to our center. Since 1995 we have been committed to providing our patients with optimum service and care, in order to continue doing so we have updated our look and have added new physicians and services.

BWS is happy to offer these two new services for your convenience.

NovaSure

The NovaSure procedure is a quick, safe, simple, one-time endometrial ablation treatment. This minimally invasive procedure controls heavy bleeding by using energy to remove the lining of the uterus. The average treatment time is about 90 seconds, and only needs to be performed once to lighten or stop your periods.  Provided by Dr. Michael Abrahams, Dr. Ronald Berka, and Dr. Mahsa Hosseini.

Natural Hormone Balance Program

Natural hormone replacement therapy is an alternative to synthetic hormones.  Natural hormones are bio-identical; they match a woman’s hormones exactly and do not interfere with their body’s normal hormone production.  This type of therapy has been shown to alleviate the unpleasant symptoms of menopause, peri-menopause and PMS as well as, protect against osteoporosis, endometrial cancer, and other diseases.  Provided by Dr. Michael Abrahams
